With a passion for helping others to improve the quality of their lives and relationships, Catherine is committed to helping you to discover and achieve your goals. Licensed in New York as both a Clinical Social Worker and a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, Catherine has over twenty years of professional experience. Catherine’s practice is driven by the philosophy that people do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care. Catherine’s compassion and care for her clients is real.

Catherine’s resume includes working with K-12 students in school settings in Dutchess and Westchester Counties. She provided services through the Dutchess County Council on Alcoholism and Substance abuse to bring school-wide alcohol and other drug prevention programming. In Westchester, Catherine was employed by Student Assistance Services and was supervised by a nationally recognized expert and creator of Student Assistance Services which brings alcohol and other drug assessment and referral services and prevention programming into Westchester schools. Catherine continued to work in schools as a School Social Worker bringing her experience to some of the most emotionally fragile students in the Lakeland Central School District. There she helped to create a model program for students needing an alternative setting due their emotional disabilities. Always challenging herself, Catherine’s career path led her to a School Social Work position counseling some of New York City’s most behaviorally and emotionally handicapped youngsters in a Safe Act School in Westchester.

In her private practice, Catherine continues her work with diverse populations who are struggling with issues ranging from acute trauma and grief to coping with the stressors of managing a career and family. Catherine believes that there is no unhappiness too great to be lessened. Her passion is working with people whose lives and relationships have been impacted by substance abuse. Her diverse skills, varied professional and life experience make her a sought after clinician in Westchester County.
